Dirty bed sheets -> Change them yourselves Positive: Good location, close to ski resort and restaurants/bars. Negative: No in person contact to any host as no front desk available and all communication happened through text messages. Unable to have a conversation about the room condition and dirty bed sheets found as we entered the goom. They made us get fresh linens from the utility room and redo the bed ourselves.

Decent, but given the prices for the same area for my stay dates, I was disappointed. Positive: The location was great, the bed was comfortable, and I felt safe. Negative: No on-site staff. Very noisy guest above me, who sounded like they were throwing a tennis ball for their dog until after midnight. Guest closet was super limited and missing many described amenities. My room had nail clippings all over the bathroom counter. The tub had hair in it. The FireTV wouldn’t let me download apps, so entertainment options were very limited.

it was a perfect location, only think was that its walk in shower and the curtains are short so the water gets all over the floor and a lot of cleaning after that, jacuzzi was nice but takes a little while to fill. The fridge alarm kept going on for us durin our still is the thing i didnt like much so i had to unplug it.

Great value and comfortable rooms! Positive: Great location in town and the rooms were big and comfortable. Ours had the jacuzzi tub which was nice. We stayed for only 2 nights so it was perfect for that! Only thing I would say is maybe for longer trips it isn’t ideal, there aren’t any amenities as far as breakfast or any sort of lobby. Check in was easy you get a code and the staff checked in regularly via text and email! Good value for the price and overall super happy! Negative: No amenities or lobby at all.

Great spot for the price. Bathroom is small but does the job. There was no shower liner in my unit so water got all over the floor but no biggie just got more towels. Jacuzzi itself is a great size for 2 ppl. It does take a while to fill up and water doesn’t stay hot enough to fill the whole thing so it was more luke warm but still enjoyable. The location itself makes up for all cons though with being a 5 minute drive from heavenly and the casinos. Bed is big and comfy, good parking close to unit, host was responsive accommodating us letting check in early. Fire place in the room as well so over all a very romantic spot. 8.5/10 personally.

I had an amazing stay at the Blue Jay Lodge. We were able to check in an hour early which was very nice. The check in process was extremely easy. We were coming for a concert at the Harvey’s Amphitheater. It was no more than a 2 minute walk from our room to security at the concert venue. The walk to casinos, restaurants, dessert, shops, and activities was no more than 5 minutes. The room itself was very clean. Overall this place was 100% worth it. I would definitely stay again. Inside the room was great, looks to be newly renovated. The only complaint is that the walls were very thin. We were also right next to the housekeeper’s room on the bottom floor. Saturday morning from basically 8am-10am we heard that door slam over and over, since they used the door lock as a door stopper instead of unlocking it quietly each time, so it slammed loudly every time. And they were doing it nonstop. Also could hear neighbors’ whole conversations outside our door, and they weren’t even talking loudly. Impossible to sleep through it. But other than that the place was great. If you’re lucky enough to get the top floor and away from the housekeeping room, you should probably be fine. Or if you wake up early and don’t care about sleeping in. They did provide ear plugs, so I suppose that’s what they were for.

This place exceeded my expectations. It's one of the more affordable places in SLT, but it did NOT disappoint. The room was clean and tidy, the beddings were washed and clean, and the bathroom was also perfectly clean. The description and pictures matched what was actually in the room. It's in a great location in SLT, within walking distance to Heavenly Village. The host was responsive and friendly and solved problems before they even arose. I have no complaints and would absolutely recommend this place to anybody! We had a great experience!

Great stay, however, jacuzzi took almost an hoir to fill in the room. Washer and dryer for the guest did not work very well, we ended up spending the rest of our day at a laundrymat to finish tje clothes. Ice machine was also not working. Jacuuzi did not work while we were staying - after we filled it up & noticed it was not working - we also realize there was hair left behind floating in the water. Rug in front of TV also had LOTS of left over pet hair. Thin walls but they do offer ear plugs.

My husband and I loved staying here over Valentine’s Day! We got lucky with a bunch of snow and enjoyed a beautiful day at Heavenly! They do accept dogs which was amazing and we were able to bring our 1 yr old puppy! They were super accommodating with the rules regarding dogs as well to allow you to leave them in the room for small outings like skiing or dinner and such!

Comfortable Room in Great Location for Reasonable Price Positive: This was a comfortable value motel stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and we loved how pet-friendly it was. The location was great, and we would stay here again. Negative: The space did not seem particularly welcoming outside but once you were in the room it was lovely. Not horrible for the price! The location was great! Easy access to everything. But I do recommend checking the bathtub before you hop in! Fill it up and run the jets for a few minutes, then drain and get tin. Unfortunately I did not do this and the jets released some sort of residual… (didn’t even want to think about what it could be. lol) overall tho the stay was nice, the connivance was nice, and the check in was easy!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Jay Lodge! The hot tub in the room worked well and was really comfortable. Only down side was that we had to unplug it manually to let the water drain. That took a few minutes. The bed was comfortable. My girlfriend said it was like sleeping on a cloud. The room overall was very cute and clean. Keep in mind that if you book the room with the hot tub, it is right near the laundry room and hallway so we heard quite a bit of foot traffic and at one point we thought people were knocking on our door in the evening. The A/C worked well and bathroom was clean. Shower water was nice and hot. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room which was very convenient. The pool area was nice and very refreshing. Location was great! Within short walking distance to the casinos and Heavenly Village which has many restaurants and shops.

We only booked that location because of the hot tub (which was really a large bathtub with jets) and it turned out that it wasn't working, so we weren't able to use it the first night. We jury-rigged a fix for the following morning, but when I brought it to the attention of the staff, all I got was a "oh, sorry. Thanks for letting us, know, though." No attempt of any kind make up for anything. If you book the room with the hot tub, be sure to check to see that it can fill up when you first get there. Hopefully they've fixed it (wouldn't fill up more than about three inches deep), but I wish we would have found that out when someone was still in the office to contact. Other than the hot tub, the room was fine, but just about the same as any other hotel room that could be booked anywhere, likely at a cheaper rate. Decent, clean space, no complaints there, just not really worth the money.

Overall we had a good stay. Whirlpool is awesome and the area is super nice. When we were there there was construction work going on. Our room (no. 20) was right next to the work shop leading to us waking up at 7am even on the weekend because of workers being really loud in there.. view out of the window was facing a wall. Nice little coffee machine for filter coffee but besides that barely any kitchen utensils. Should be aware of that. Big Pool as shown on pictures was closed. Looks like it is just open in summer which I think is fine, just should be aware of that.

Good area to stay in, easy check in. I’ve stayed here before and it was fine as well. This time there were a few things that I’ve noticed. There was so much lint on the bed it went all over our clothes, a towel had some stains on there, there were a few ants we had to kill on the bed, and I always bring Clorox wipes to wipe down everything first before I touch it and some of my wipes were gray due to it being dirty. Great area and nice decor inside but this time it just fell off a bit so I am disappointed in the cleaning quality aspect of things.

Booking was extremely easy. I was kinda worried since I booked while I was 1.5 hour away but I got check in instructions within minutes of booking. The place was very clean. Just as shown in photos. I was expecting it to be noisy since a lot of reviews said it was, but it wasn’t. Ear plugs were provided but I didn’t even need them. It was kinda hard to find since the room was all the way in the back corner. It is next to the laundry room but that didn’t bother me. I was actually very glad to be at the back corner since I saw a lot of people walking everywhere. The parking pass is located in the binder. It was nice that they offered blue jay vouchers in the binder too, however, it’s a 2023 pass. Parking is a little tight but nothing unmanageable. I wasn’t too clear on check out. So I just texted them and they responded very quickly as well. I got a steal for the price!

This Airbnb is conveniently located in a walkable distance to Heavenly Village, no more than 5 minutes. The room was cozy and looks just like the pictures. The owner is proactive and provided all the required information well in advance to prepare for check-in/check- out. Would definitely recommend this place due to the comfort and location!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Jay Lodge. Very spacious, open and clean room. Felt cozy and private even though it’s a hotel. King bed was very comfy and the jacuzzi in the room was awesome after skiing all day. Air conditioning/heat was super effective and comfortable. Nice lighting. Great tv. All was great! Check in was a breeze everything was available in a short text, very straightforward. My only veryyyy minor complaint would be the towels were too small , thin and not soft. The biggest towel barely covered my body and I’m pretty lean. Little pricy but it’s peak season, and I did love the extra space , amenities and the location was great. Will stay here again!

An immaculately presented room with a huge comfortable king size bed, crisp white linens, a large jacuzzi to unwind in after hiking and skiing with plenty of fluffy towels to dry off! expected an apartment and instead got a remodeled motel room, got to kill 3 black medium size spiders, could hear behind the wall what other people talk and do, no privacy, also the room was next to a laundry room which constantly people use and we can hear everything, not always there is parking sometimes need to park outside, expected to have my own numbered parking at least.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for a night in tahoe and the room was amazing! It was fully stocked on lots of extra towels and blankets. The jetted tub was clean and super relaxing. The location is tucked off away from the main road so it was fairly quiet space with parking right in front of our room. Definitely will be back!

This place was amazing. As soon as we arrived, parking was really accessible. Getting checked in using a code was really fast and convenient if you’re coming from a long car drive like us. The place itself was really beautiful, perfect size for two people. The bed was a king sized, perfect if you like your own space. We were able to get the room with the jacuzzi!!! Soooo good especially when it’s cold outside with the heater facing the bed! One thing that stood out to me about this place from others was the fact that there was a guest closet where you could help yourself if you needed to do laundry or grab things you might have run out of. The lodge was placed perfectly in a small part of town with amazing stores and restaurants, all walking distance. My boyfriend and I agreed if we’d come back, we’d get this place again! 10/10 recommended!

Super great place. Clean and very close to a lot of places in South Lake Tahoe. Plenty of parking in the lot too. Girlfriend and I had no problems. One thing is I wish they would provide water, we forgot to pack a few bottles but there were plenty of stores to buy some within walking/driving distance. Right across heavenly village too if you’re looking to ski during snow season

The room was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. The bed is very comfortable, on the firmer side (which I like). I did have trouble getting inside because the door code I got was incorrect, but a staff member was able to provide me with the correct code as soon as I called. The shower also drained slowly, but that was not a problem for me, and maintenance even offered to fix it during my stay. The jacuzzi tub is AWESOME! Plus it's close enough to the main shopping areas, but far away enough that it was very quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything was clean and seemed new so that was nice. Our room was a corner room so it looked more spacious then the others. We didn’t have a view from the window, just another building blocking the view. The little space above the mini fridge with clothes hangers was totally useless for hanging, it blew my mind that there was no where to hang a hat or a jacket or even a towel after a shower.

Very good! I liked the jacuzzi feature, it was very relaxing and private. Everything was clean, as described, and the host was communicative/easy to reach. Overall, wouldn’t mind staying here again for a quick couple’s getaway. Also not sure what others were talking about it being noisy because the place was really quiet. They provided ear plugs, but didn’t see the need for them at all. Bed was comfy and big, place was spacious, they had a smart TV as well. Thank you for hosting us! (-:

The location is great and nearby many restaurants and casinos to enjoy. The room was clean and the tub was a lovely addition! The only issue is the room is right next to the laundry room on site and at about 9AM there was repetitive loud banging coming from that area. (we thought maybe there was a supply closet for the cleaners back there too?) It was pretty annoying to listen to because it lasted until we pretty much checked out. Otherwise, there weren’t any other issues, and an overall good place to stay.

We love the location and ease we had checking in. Our only complaint would be the parking. Lots of people with hitched trailers taking up multiple spaces. We had to use one of the street side lot spaces due to this, which lead to someone defacing our vehicle. Other than that, we had a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how pet friendly it was. The provided dog beds were very comfortable for our older pup. The hosts are super responsive, friendly and helped fixed a maintenance issue the next morning. The location is extremely walkable. I would stay here again.

The room was nice and clean and I loved the plank floors. The only problems we had was a bathroom circuit breaker went out so we had no lights in half the room and bathroom. Great pet friendly lodging, with a comfortable bed, and giant jacuzzi tub. We had no issues with sound disturbances at all (but it wasn’t a weekend so that might change if it was a weekend). The room is pretty dark too, so that was a bummer, but it was great for sleeping! We’d definitely consider another stay in the future!

We only stayed one night, but wish it were more. The room was very updated, comfortable and very quiet. Our unit was right next to the laundry/supply and we were very pleased to find that we did not hear any noise, even when someone was doing a load of laundry. We loved the location and took advantage of the free entertainment just a few steps away at the Basecamp Beer Garden. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay here again.

This was basically a room in a hotel that had been fitted with a Jacuzzi tub, not much for a closet, but the room was clean. It had a nice big window that looked out to a block wall but this was a great location and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying at this AirBnb! Perfect location and walking distance to restaurants, casinos, and shops! One thing that stood out to me compared to other hosts, is that Adventure Stay was very quick to respond and accommodate my needs. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and they surprised us with something special. We also loved the king sized bed as we slept very comfortably. Not to mention, this place had a cute little fire place and a nice hot tub that we definitely took advantage of! I highly recommend this place and looking forward to booking with Adventure Stay in the near future :)
