SOUTH SHORE LAKE LINK
South Lake Tahoe's "Lake Link" is a hit, for tourists and locals alike. The service is an app-based, on-demand service that uses 9-12 passenger vans. It can be thought of as Uber or Lyft but shared rides and free to the user. Rides will initially be available within the service area shown below. The Lake Link service operates 365 days per year 7 am – 9 pm (10 pm on Fridays & Saturdays in summer and winter).
1) Create a Lake Link Account
2) Book a ride through the app
3) Meet your driver (a small walk might be required)
