Not the cleanest, there was a nasty smell in our suite , but close to everything Positive: Very Close to everything Negative: Its was dirty , pillows and towels were dirty didn’t feel comfortable to lay down , the whole kitchen on our stay smelled bad , kinda like a cat poop smell . We had to ask for Febreze spray for the smell . Staff was super comforting

Perfect Lake Tahoe Getaway We had a wonderful stay at Moose and Maple Lodge and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is absolutely perfect - convenient access to everything Lake Tahoe has to offer while still maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. The lodge itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, which made it feel like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the property was, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy our vacation. The staff were fantastic - friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They helped make our stay that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Moose and Maple Lodge to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Everyone in my family including my 5 year old son loved this place (he asked if we could stay one more night 🥹). It was our first renting a lodge in Lake Tahoe and it just made our trip more pleasant and enjoyable. Both the rooms are well cleaned, the heaters all worked so well and one of the bathrooms looks fantastic. They also have all the kitchen utilities and cooking pots and pans. We felt like home when entering the place. I’d definitely recommend it!

Our first time taking our dog on a trip and it was the perfect location. The beach and Heavenly Village shops was a short walking distance. Other dog owners were there so we didn’t feel as bad when she would bark randomly when people walked past our unit. The layout was perfect and they even had treats ready for her. The contacts were very responsive and answered all our questions timely. Made some great memories!

I can’t be thankful enough. Our stay with The Moose and Maple Lodge was perfect. The apartment is at a top location just off down town, super clean and inviting in every way. We really loved our stay here. The place was spacious and comfortable with two rooms, three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms with a jacuzzi. Everything was well-stocked with utensils, plates, and even dog treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. There was a TV in each room, including the living room, and the location was great—close to walking areas and very peaceful. We truly enjoyed our night here and will definitely be recommending Moose and Maple Lodge to our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at this cozy apartment was exceptional. The space was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully maintained, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The location was convenient, there’s lot to do around, restaurants in walkable distance and yet quiet, making it perfect for a restful getaway. While a kettle for hot water (for me in particular) would have been a helpful addition, overall, the ameneties met our needs and contributed to a very pleasant stay. We would be happy to return and highly recommend this property for future guests.

We love this cozy place 😍 Positive: We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved this cozy little apartment😍. Our unit had two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and one of them even had a jacuzzi tub. It can actually accommodate up to 6 people, but there were only 4 of us this time. The space felt very warm and comfortable, and the kitchen was impressively well-equipped! Multiple stoves, pots, utensils, a large fridge, a dishwasher, and more. It’s honestly the best private kitchen I’ve ever seen in a vacation rental.✨ The location is also excellent, with supermarkets and many restaurants nearby, and it’s very close to all the attractions on the south side of Lake Tahoe. Highly recommended!💪 Negative: Everything good

Overall pleasant stay. Had some issues but were resolved. The lights went out 30 min after we got there but they fixed it pretty quickly. Instructions regarding parking pass for your car was a little bit of an issue but nothing huge. I would also like to mention that the host should include outside pictures of the Airbnb as it is very different that the vibe posted and of the inside of the airbnb. Airbnb was very clean which i appreciated. Host was fairly quick with responses.

The place is convenient located in the central area of South Lake Tahoe so you can easily access to restaurants, grocery stores or whatever you need. The people are friendly and responsible. The only thing to note is that I specifically book this location because it is walkable to the lake but it is a private beach so it is not free. I actually have to drove to near by location for a more reasonable price to have beach access. Other than that, this place was great for mine short 2 days stay. Thank you for having us.

This place was very cute and quiet but, also perfect walking distance from the heavenly shopping center and casinos. The pool was great for the warm weather that weekend. They provided clean towels by the pool, floaties, umbrellas, and even a grill. The lake is about a 10 minute walk and the target is less than that in the opposite direction.

Check in was communicated well. However, the room was not ready at the promised time (4PM) Housekeeping was still working until 4:35 PM. We have an event to attend and this was an inconvenience. There were also no supplies in the shower. And as there was no on site, management, we could not get anything. We reached out to their e-concierge team and they would not even consider a partial refund. Had we overstayed our check out they would have applied a penalty. This should work both ways as the room was not completed as promised.

Amazing place! Will absolutely be recommending and booking again. So comfortable and clean. Perfect mix between hotel and home. Really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was such a plus! Bed were incredible comfy. And so happy our pup got to stay with us. There is easy access to dirt/grass right behind the building which made potty breaks smooth without any accidents. Thank you for offering such a warm welcome, nothing short of the expectation! Management was extremely responsive within minutes with any questions. Walkable to shopping center and beach with so much to do! Also love that this was a more intimate stay rather than being in an enormous hotel getting lost. Can’t wait to book again!

Very disappointing stay — misleading listing The property is very old and not as described. Nowhere was it mentioned that it’s on the second floor, which was inconvenient. The bedroom photos do not match the actual condition — the place looks outdated and poorly maintained, almost junk-like. Electrical outlets in our bedroom didn’t work, and all the ceiling fans were wobbly and felt unsafe. Most importantly, this is essentially a non-AC property. There is no central or regular air conditioning. Instead, they’ve placed portable AC units that vent hot air through open windows — which defeats the purpose and makes the room uncomfortable. It’s unacceptable that this was not mentioned clearly in the listing.

Hello All: This company is committing outright fraud. The pictures shown on their website vs. what you actually get (old, wornout, cheap looking furniture, bed and linens) are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. There is nobody at the lodge at their front desk. It seems to simply just be closed and you are supposed to entirely figure out your stay in a self help way. Also, they don't respond well to any concerns that one has. We took one look at their facility (when we got there) and left immediately without staying there. We have written to them about the fraud in misrepresenting their UNIT photos and requested for a refund. There is NO response. As of now, Airbnb has also not been able to get us a refund.

We stayed on the 2nd floor of this property, which is in a great location close to the lake. The space is generally comfortable, and there are fans in the bedrooms to help with the lack of built-in AC. There’s a portable AC unit in the living room which helps cool the common area. We did notice some dirt on the shelves, so there’s room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you're looking for a convenient spot near the lake and don’t mind some basic amenities.

Adventure stays was on par or better than any hotel or Airbnb experience I’ve had. Excellent service with quick response times. We had a great time at the moose & maple lodge. The location is great waiting a couple minute walk to the village and multiple restaurants and all the casinos. Great views of the mountain from all the windows. The split room setup with the kitchen and living room in the center is great for kids. We had a couple doors that were squeaky and the maintenance team jumped right on it with some wd-40. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone with kids.

I initially fell in love with this sweet little apartment, but couldn’t sleep all night. In the end, a good nights sleep Positive: The family suite was so perfect for us space wise and the place is so cozy and lovely. Everything was neat and clean and the location was great. Negative: The fire is connected to the thermostat so even when turned all the way down over night, every time it went off the lights of the flames woke us up. It was also way hotter in the master than the rest of the place. I had to move to the sofa to sleep which was not comfortable. My husband stayed in the bed and said the bed was also horribly uncomfortable. Also, there is a lack of privacy in the master because you can see through the connecting fireplace.

Fantastic location, immediate response time, gorgeous accommodation just blocks away from the city center of South Lake Tahoe. Our group had great sleeps on the memory foam mattresses, and the showers were absolutely heavenly. The fireplace was the cherry on top. we had an incredible stay. Great location, roughly one block to the beach. The rooms themselves were very clean with a log cabin feel complete with fireplace. It was an absolutely lovely and comfortable place to stay and I will definitely stay again! Positive: It felt like a little apartment! It was darling and cozy! The rooms were quite spacious, the beds were comfy, and the bathrooms were really nice! Negative: The ceiling fan in our room made a terrible noise and kept us up off and on all night and it was just too hot to turn it off. Cute, Perfect for Large Groups Positive: The proximity to restaurants and shops was great. The suite itself was very cool, the kitchen was perfect and the rooms were exactly as expected. the self check in was easy and the place was very communicative when we reached out. Negative: There weren't a lot of amenities at the hotel itself. We know the pool needs to be closed for the season but would have been nice to have access to the firepit or have that be separate from the space in the pool somehow. Although I get the layout may not allow that.

Wonderful property with everything we needed Positive: Really lovely property with comfortable and clean furnishings. Area felt safe and it was within walking distance of Heavenly Village. Nice area for an evening walk. Pool was heated and enjoyed by the children. Laundry on site, all for free including laundry supplies. Everything you need for a few days stay, including toiletries and kitchen items. Hosts take noise issues seriously. We were worried when we arrived to see ear plugs provided and explanations about thin walls but we had absolutely no issues with noise from anywhere. Negative: No full size oven although there was a counter top toaster oven which was sufficient for what we needed for a few days. If you are staying longer and wish to self cater the lack of a full size oven might be an issue.

10/10 we will come back. Positive: Perfect location—only a 10-minute walk to the beautiful lakeside beach. Staff responds in seconds. We asked for the crib and dishwasher detergent, and both were answered within 5 minutes. The room is spacious, with plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathroom. The jacuzzi is a huge plus. The hot water comes within seconds. Negative: The floor is a little bit dirty, especially in the living room.

This place was close to all the activities we wanted to do in South Lake Tahoe. It was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. Great communication, good location for walking to the beach and in town restaurants. Pool was bigger than it looked in pictures and we used the onsite BBQ which was a nice bonus. One drawback is that the listing says it has AC but it’s not central and the unit is located in living room (neither bedroom) which would’ve been nice to know. It was a warm week in Tahoe so it was warm at night in the bedrooms. Likely not an issue most of the season but it was for us.

I am writing to express my frustration with the misleading listing of the property I recently stayed at. The apartment was advertised as having air conditioning, but it did not. For a two-bedroom apartment, there was only a single portable rolling air conditioner unit, which could only cool one room. This was particularly frustrating during the summer months, as we had to sleep with the windows open in the other room. This not only compromised our privacy but also exposed us to loud noises and people walking by at all hours. Additionally, the listing was deceiving because it did not guarantee the unit shown in the pictures. The unit we were assigned was located upstairs with no elevator access, which we were not informed about beforehand. This was another source of frustration. Despite these major issues, the apartment itself was decent.

This place is a hidden gem in South Lake! It was a super close walk to everything we needed (<10 minutes, very central), it was quiet, and one of the cutest spaces I’ve stayed at in quite some time! The place is nice and within walking distance of the lake and restaurants. However, the description of the unit is not accurate. It mentioned that there is AC, but there is no AC. It was too hot with both fireplaces' ignitions on. There were no instructions on how to use the appliances, including the TV. There was no privacy. You could not open the windows. People walking by can see the inside of the unit. The curtains were not enough for coverage. There were no specifications of where the unit was. They put us on the second floor. We have a family member with a mobility issue. When asked for a ground floor room, we were told there was no family unit on the ground floor. It was too late to change accommodation.

Our unit was on a second floor, no mention of this description of this unit. So anyone with a walking , breathing, or some other disability DON'T RENT FAMILY UNIT WITH MORE THAN ONE BEDROOM!!!!!! This Place doesn't care to let people know that stairs are involved. My 2 older nephews was traveling with me and can you believe their offer to me was a 1 bed unit. I have been renting vaction house for the last 20 years and this has been the worst experience of a rental unit. By the way we could not close the bedroom curtains, and the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced , worn indents in places in the mattress The unit had been updated but with very thought on the comfort of guess Be very careful when reading about their units.

This place was great! My Family and I were happy we made this decision after opening the door. The home is very comfortable with enough space for my family of 4. The location is ideal as we were able to walk around town easily. Also, they were very responsive through the app as I had needed assistance with the fireplace and they came right away to show me. We stayed here with 5 people for 1 night, it is spacious with a cozy fireplace that made it nice and warm. The beds were comfortable and I specifically enjoyed the walk-in shower connected to the master bedroom. You can even heat the bathroom, which was very pleasant. We went out for dinner (restaurants are in close proximity) so did not use the kitchen. We did have a nice breakfast and found everything we needed. The only odd thing was that we did not have a fifth (or sixth) chair at the dining table, although the apartment could house 6 people. One of us ended up having breakfast on the couch. An extra chair would be good.

This airbnb is in a great location being walkable to many restaurants and shops. There was plenty of parking available in the lot. All the necessities were in the unit - utensils, cups, plenty of towels, etc. The heating system kept the place nice and warm. The hosts are very responsive as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Great find on airbnb, location is perfect, size is nice kitchen equipped. Everything was great just wish they had the same type of bed in guest room for master room. Guest room had 2 really nice queen beds the king bed in master was way too soft. Besides that loved tha spot and would return back there

Very convenient location, walkable to restaurants and Heavenly. Had a great stay here and would come back for ski trips. Hosts were also very helpful and communicative!

I would definitely recommend others to stay here whenever they come to south lake! It’s a SUPER easy & close walk up to the main downtown area and the Airbnb itself has everything you need and more. It’s still somewhat under construction downstairs so we were in an upstairs unit, but the the place was well decorated, cozy & quite large. Could comfortably fit 6 people but we ended up only with 4. Will be staying here again in the future if it’s available!

Love the log cabin decor, double-sided fireplace & the minimalist clean aesthetics. Love the easy access to the communal laundry & easy access to the extra supplies. Very proative & responsive hosts. Wish there was an oven though. Thin walls due to older building means you have to really keep the noise down at night. Outside noise we didn't hear while we were there.

We had such a good time. The location makes it easy to walk anywhere in south lake. Many good restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. We will try to stay here again next time we go to Tahoe.

We stayed here for a ski trip and the place was perfect for our family of 5. The 2 bedrooms with 2 baths worked perfectly for us. Also Heavenly is a short walk from the lodge (literally across the street), which was our main attraction for this trip.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem which was cheaper than a lot of the other hotels nearby but had a cozy atmosphere and matched its pictures. It was a great location within walking distance to many places. There was plenty of room for my guests which included 4 adults, 2 toddlers and our dog. The kitchen area was convenient and equipped with 2 full bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. They were also accommodating to adding our pet after our initial booking. We would definitely book there again!

We had a wonderful stay here! It's a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment in a two-story outdoor-hallway inn. The door had a keypad, which made it easy to get in, and it was no problem arriving late. The host responded faster than any host I've experienced on airbnb before. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and I really appreciated that! When we arrived, we couldn't get the heating to work. 3 minutes after I texted to ask the host about it, a handyman showed up at the door and he had it fixed 5 minutes later. Amazing! Overall, was a very comfortable stay. Kitchen wasn't super stocked, but we didn't need much anyway. Bathroom amenities were really nice, with high-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand lotion (!) The condo is a 5-minute walk from the Heavenly gondola (a little longer if you're in full gear and boots), also < 10 minutes to several great restaurants and bars and even a nice 24hr gym. Perfect location.

Moose & Maple lodge impressed with its cleanliness and overall maintenance. Rooms are cozy, spotless and facilities well-kept. Super dog friendly which I loved and conveniently located to the lake as well as the Gondola at Heavenly. Host is super responsive and check in was seamless. The only setback was the prolonged wait for hot water, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay- hate to waste water but sometimes took like 15 minutes for the water to heat up in the morning or evening. If you prioritize cleanliness and don't mind a slight inconvenience with water, it's a solid choice for accommodation.

the place was under construction , no bbq,no pit fire and the picture doesnt match the reality .its okay stay . just suite hotel nothing fancy.the only good thing the stuff nice,the location perfect in south lakr tahoe.

Stayed with 5 other family members, including 2 toddler grandchildren. It was cozy and comfortable. Not fancy, but nice. We liked the new kitchen and baths, woodsy dining set and beds, decorated like a lodge. Glass two-way fireplace furnace allows visibility from living into bedroom on the other side. We worked around this so it wasn’t a privacy problem. Location is very close to lake and gondola, but quiet in the unit. Appreciated the laundry facilities and close parking. Deck was closed when we were there but we wouldn’t take these 2 toddlers on it in the winter anyway. Perfect for a ski weekend.

First of all, we didn’t get the apartment we booked in the website. The website description is not accurate, I got the queen bed in master bedroom but website described king as I have baby I was specifically looking for king bed. Second the sofa was not clean, very small, no cushions. Third the TV is very small in the wall, it’s like 30 inch. Bad design. Fourth, the heater makes so much noise in the other bedroom, you can’t sleep properly. Fifth, the unit is very old. You might see scratches, holes, stains in the walls. Sixth, instructed to open shoes but no slip one inside the unit as the bathroom, living and kitchen floors were cold. Seventh, the kitchen knifes were so blunt, cannot be used. Eight, the utensils in the kitchen wine glasses, cups are not standards. They were variety of sizes, eg 6 cups from 6 companies. Good parts: Bathroom was clean, has a working jacuzzi tub. Bedroom was good as well except the heater noise. Overall it was not worth what I paid. ☹️

I recently stayed at Moose and Maple Lodge and had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was smooth, with clear and well-communicated instructions and house rules provided well in advance. The property was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just a few minutes' drive from south Lake Tahoe and the heavenly gondola’s ride! Ample parking spaces added to the convenience. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay.

This little lodge is in a fabulous location right across the street from heavenly Village. It is about a 5 to 8 minute walk if you wanna walk over to the shops, restaurants, or take the gondola up to ski or snowboard. The two bedrooms were very comfortable and fit both my husband and I along with three teenage boys. We were quite happy to stay here.

We had a great stay here!! Very close to the Gondola for skiing, beautiful rooms and a wonderful fireplace to sit by. It was the perfect location for a family ski trip. We will definitely come back! Thanks to the AdventureStays team for excellent service.

Had a great stay at Moose and Maple lodge! We had a small issue when we first arrived - the fans were incredibly dirty, but I reached out to the host and they responded and quickly had them cleaned as soon as it was appropriate to enter the unit (we arrived around 830pm and I noticed around 10pm). The rest of the unit was absolutely spotless and the rain shower heads were amazing after a long day of skiing. The location is AMAZING. We could walk to all the shops and restaurants close by, it’s super close to the water, and was about a 7 minute drive to the California Lodge for skiing. It was warm and homey. It was amazing.

Good stay. Location is amazing and walkable. Fireplace is an added bonus. The stairs are a bit of an hassle to carry bags on. Overall an awesome stay.
