Welcome to the Moose and Maple Lodge! This great location is within walking distance to the most popular attractions in South Lake Tahoe. Spend your stay exploring Heavenly Village and the Gondola to Heavenly Resort, Lakeside Beach at Lake Tahoe, Harrah's and Hard Rock Casino, and dozens of restaurants and bars. The cabin-style lodge has:

-Pool(The pool is closed for winter)

- Balcony hangout(Shared space)

- Self Check-in

- Fully stocked kitchen

- Enhanced clean

Our chic lodge offers everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The space is well-equipped with one queen-sized memory foam mattress, and a couch. And there is plenty of outdoor space from the outdoor bar, outdoor game area, and shared balcony overlooking the neighboring mountains to make the most of your time in the clear, crisp mountain air.

The Moose and Maple Lodge gets its name from the friendly moose statue out front (feel free to snap a picture and tag us @MooseandMapleLodge) and the beauty of the surrounding mountain landscape. The lodge is a multi-unit, recently renovated boutique property.

You’ll have the convenience of a full kitchen, completely loaded with all cookware you'll need to cook your own meals. The living area is open and spacious and highlighted by the custom fireplace above (The fireplace is decorative and non-functional) which is a smart TV with a dedicated Netflix account for your enjoyment, (But guests needs to sign - in their on account) as well as all the other streaming services - with super-fast WiFi for all your streaming and stay-cation needs!

The cabin has a custom stone fireplace (aesthetic only) in the living room AND a full kitchen. Plus the bathroom features a jacuzzi tub and shower combo.

The space is set up for ideally 2 guests but there is room on the couch for a third if your party is okay with that!

And all the space inside the unit is completely private and only the outside areas like the balcony is being shared.

The property itself has plenty of bonus amenities to explore. Hang out in the outdoor game area. You’re also encouraged to relax next to the fire pit on cool, starry nights out on the spacious balcony overlooking the neighboring mountains. So, what are you waiting for?

You will have access to the entire unit and can get in via the smart lock on the door anytime during your stay. The code will be sent to you prior to check-in (easy-peasy!) and will be functional from your check-in time to check-out time.

There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and you will be hard-pressed to find a spot that you can't walk to or hop on a Lime or Uber scooter to get to. We give the walkability a 10/10!

Please be aware that there are other guests staying in other units.

The building was built in the 50’s and unfortunately sometimes noise can be heard from the upstairs units because of thin walls, but we have property managers on site for any noise complaints.

Your furry friends are welcome for an additional $50 pet fee (please contact us prior to booking to ensure availability). With consideration for future guests and those with allergies, we ask that pets do NOT get on any of the furniture including the beds.

Please be informed that the pool is closed for winter.

Please note that we do not have Generator for power interruptions.

The pool is currently not available.

We feel that transparency is very important and want to give you an accurate picture of your stay. Many of these factors are out of our control, so we ask for your understanding when reviewing the property. Either way, we are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so if there is anything we can do during your stay, you just let us know.

This is our 3rd stay at this location, and we really like it! So close to the busy area with lots of restaurant choices and shopping. We walk basically everywhere we go. We will be back!!

Great peaceful stay in Lake Tahoe. The lodge is walking distance to the beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The host was very accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. Our furry friend felt right at home.

This was such a perfect little haven within SLT! Within walking/biking distance of everything! We were able to get some groceries and stay in making use of the kitchen and watching movies. It was the perfect size with all the amenities needed. Others have noted the noise being an issue, however we didnt really face any issues. Being understanding that the building is old, meaning thinner walls, goes a long way. Be kind and respectful and you'll make the most of it! As for the hosts, we were able to meet some of the team and the pup, Ollie! Such a great trip and will be back!!

Moose & Maple Lodge is conveniently located near so many things to do in South Lake Tahoe. We loved our stay there. The amenities such as free parking, wifi, laundry room, full kitchen, and smart TV's made our stay go very smoothly. The only negatives I would say are that the pool was not open (even though surrounding hotels had theirs open), and the walls/floors are quite thin. Our upstairs neighbors kept us up a night or 2.

Overall a great stay! Pros - Location is perfect - place was clean and well decorated - you have all the amenities you’ll need except toothpaste Cons - bare minimum kitchen supply, only 3 pots and not even a pan - Wi-Fi is not very reliable, it’s either slow or straight no internet access. We noticed it was faster in the room - the window could not be locked in the living room - it’s mentioned by many but the noise is definitely an issue, you can hear conversations, walking, and any kind of noise above your bedroom. The window also has an ac attachment so outside noise gets pretty bad as well such as people, cars, and trash truck. It was nice that earplugs were provided

Staff was nice, aside from that this is literally the one of the worst AirBnB we’ve ever stayed at. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear EVERYTHING happening above you. Every single night, we were woken up in the middle of the night because we could hear people walking, banging, and taking above. If you’re a light sleeper or have young kids - this place is NOT for you. Aside from the noise - basically everything in this unit was in disrepair. Faucets are loose, the dishwasher doesn’t work properly, and worse, fell out, crushing my foot and spilling water because it’s not secured. The knives are cheap and broken, to the point where we almost cut ourselves due to a handle literally falling off the knife. The advertised jacuzzi tub does not work. Pool was closed, even though advertised as open. If you’re a digital nomad - don’t bank on that “dedicated workspace” - it doesn’t exist.

It was a great location, with access to so many places, either by walking, biking or scooter. The place was neat and tidy, can tell it gets a lot of high traffic, but it was updated and made our stay convenient. The host was quick and responsive to everything we needed or had questions about. It’s a pleasant place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.

Great location, good shower, responsive friendly staff, good TV. However this place was DIRTY and is in need of maintenance, does not come with your own washing machine & dryer but rather is shared with multiple other units (this should be stated in the listing). It has no dining table or chairs. The bed is very hard and uncomfortable. There was a serious lack of kitchen utensils. With some upgrades and care this place could be good but in its current state I would NOT recommend.

Host communicated well, check-in was easy, and all spaces were clean and cozy. Loved the space and felt right at home. The location is great - right by the lake and walking distance to all the shops, bars, and restaurants. We even extended our stay by a night due to the snow and to take advantage of the great discount. Only 2 minor downsides - 1) walls are very thin, so we could hear everything from our upstairs neighbors. 2) Us extending our stay wasn't communicated to the woman who entered the apartment to clean. it was a bit awkward as we had already been in touch with the host, and they approved our extended stay. This is usually the benefit of ABnB that this kind of miscommunication doesn't happen because usually you're dealing with 1 person. Overall, our stay was lovely. It was cozy, private, and comfortable while still being in the heart of town. Would definitely recommend.

We got the place for a discounted rate compared to other nights so it was a super great deal. Easy 3 minute walk to the village. Very warm with heaters in all the rooms. Bed was comfortable too. The overall building is a bit old including the kitchen, etc but the furnishings were new, modern and nice. Would definitely stay there again at the reasonable rate they gave me. Thumbs up!

This place was definitely worth it for my visit to South Lake Tahoe with my partner! All the places needed for groceries, shopping, eats, and the gondola were all within 5 minutes of walking. Loved how walkable it was to the gondola and restaurants! Such a central location and 5-10 min drive to wherever you needed to go in South Lake. Place itself was cozy and extremely clean. Water pressure for shower= amazing. They did a great job with the space they had, and how old the building is. Brought a kennel for our pup and she did great. Lots of areas to walk around to take our pup out. Bed was super comfy!! Lots of mirrors and well decorated. The only thing we would complain about is that the title for the listing advertised it as having a fireplace which we assumed was usable but it had a sign saying ‘’display only’’ when we got there and they verified we coudn’t actually use it. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay here and am looking forward to booking again!

We had a great stay here! The space is cozy, the location is very convenient, and it was overall a great value. The kitchen was a little limited in terms of cooking stuff, so bring what you think you’ll need if you’re going to be doing more actual cooking, and note that there isn’t a dining table. We made do with a coffee table and eating on the couch but it was something I didn’t notice when making the booking. The host was extremely responsive and very helpful!

Been going to SLT for 50 plus years, over the last 10 years we have found several properties who have raised their prices very high. Living in CA, not all of us are equal in income. This property seems to recognize this fact. We were very thankful for the beautiful unit that was superior to others we rented over the past 10 years and about 15% less. We hope Blake will continue to keep the property rental cost for the week affordable for those of us coming form a less income area of Northern California. Through experience, we always bring everything to private properties. This property had built in shampoos, conditioner, body wash, dish soap and soap dispensers in every area, awesome!!! Those amenities are pretty handy! Free washer/dryer, great. Thank you Blake, we will be booking for next year!

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is very central to walking everywhere. Or electric scooters can be found nearly everywhere if needed. There is a beautiful, non dog friendly beach within walking distance, but there is a $25 fee per person. A free, dog friendly beach is 1.5 miles down the road. There’s free laundry and parking. A cute pool and a nice upstairs propane bbq area to enjoy the evening. The supermarket is in walking distance too, which was very convenient. Definitely will come back. The owner responded very quickly to my questions. Check in and out was easy.

A quaint little place with all the necessities for a 4 day stay! We enjoyed having more space than a traditional room; we had a separate bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom which made our stay very comfortable. Great location too! We were a very short walking distance from the grocery store, restaurants, shops, and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We also loved the self check-in and self check-out. The keyless entry was so convenient as we didn't have to worry about sharing or loosing a key.

It is a bit misleading to put “fireplace” in the title of the listing when you can’t use it… it does state in the Airbnb that it is “aesthetic only” but I thought maybe that it meant it was gas powered rather than a wood burning fireplace? It’s clear that the place is in the middle of renovation. A light switch cover by the front door wasn’t actually screwed into the wall, a power outlet cover by the bed doesn’t fully cover the gap in the wall. Some communication issues as well—Scheduled plumbing work was done in the middle of the day, which we weren’t informed of until 15 minutes prior. Additionally, the cancellation policy states that we could cancel mid-stay and receive a full refund for nights that remain 24 hours after cancellation, minus service and cleaning fees. When we reached out about this policy, we were informed that we would receive no refund for the last night. We decided to just stay and not spend our trip trying to negotiate this policy, but it was disappointing nonetheless.

Thank you for pointing out the maintenance items - we have discussed with our team and they are being taken care of! And the cancelation policy advertised on the listing is "Flexible: Full refund 1 day prior to arrival" meaning that you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before arrival, not for remaining nights once the reservation begins. This is because it becomes almost impossible to rebook those nights with such short notice. We do take exception to this when there are issues that impact a stay on a case by case basis. But we do hope you enjoyed your stay enough to come back and hopefully we can make it a more enjoyable experience!

Everything about this Lodge was great. Great customer service. The one time that we were missing something in the kitchen they were able to get to us right away. There were some pans that I thought were missing. When I turned on the oven I found them because I'm in the habit of looking because I put my cast iron skillets inside of my oven and always remove them within seconds of me turning on my oven. The memory foam mattress was a bit firm for my husband and I, but that's our preference nothing that they did wrong. It's very close to the heavenly shopping center, this was great, everything was within walking distance. Everything was pretty great.

Location was perfect for our ski vacation. Walking distance of the gondola (about 5 minutes), shops, dining and grocery store. Condo had basic amenities needed and two smart TV’s. Nice shower water pressure was a bonus.

Location, location, LOCATION. You can not get any better than this place for location. Walking distance from the gondola if you’re looking to go up the mountain. Walking distance from the casinos if you want to gamble or enjoy Tahoe’s night life. Walking distance from most of the bars, restaurants and everything else Tahoe has to offer. Blake and the team were so friendly and on top of everything for this stay. We were never left in the dark and felt completely supported. Only thing I would say that was not fantastic was the bed was fairly hard. Great for back sleepers but not so great for stomach sleepers like myself. Everything else was top tier!!

Great location, close to bars and restaurants, loved the live music at ten crows BBQ. The town doesn't have a lot of street lights so a flashlight would be useful for late nights walking home! This is our 3rd stay at this location, and we really like it! So close to the busy area with lots of restaurant choices and shopping. We walk basically everywhere we go. We will be back!!

Great peaceful stay in Lake Tahoe. The lodge is walking distance to the beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The host was very accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. Our furry friend felt right at home.

This was such a perfect little haven within SLT! Within walking/biking distance of everything! We were able to get some groceries and stay in making use of the kitchen and watching movies. It was the perfect size with all the amenities needed. Others have noted the noise being an issue, however we didnt really face any issues. Being understanding that the building is old, meaning thinner walls, goes a long way. Be kind and respectful and you'll make the most of it! As for the hosts, we were able to meet some of the team and the pup, Ollie! Such a great trip and will be back!!

Located in a very central area and easy to walk to many shops, restaurants and Lake Tahoe Blvd. Check in and check out was super easy and clear instructions. The place it self was clean, spacious and great for both guests and our dog, which is nice that they are dog friendly! We appreciate the quick responses and constant updates/reminders throughout our stay.

Moose & Maple Lodge is conveniently located near so many things to do in South Lake Tahoe. We loved our stay there. The amenities such as free parking, wifi, laundry room, full kitchen, and smart TV's made our stay go very smoothly. The only negatives I would say are that the pool was not open (even though surrounding hotels had theirs open), and the walls/floors are quite thin. Our upstairs neighbors kept us up a night or 2.

Overall a great stay! Pros - Location is perfect - place was clean and well decorated - you have all the amenities you’ll need except toothpaste Cons - bare minimum kitchen supply, only 3 pots and not even a pan - Wi-Fi is not very reliable, it’s either slow or straight no internet access. We noticed it was faster in the room - the window could not be locked in the living room - it’s mentioned by many but the noise is definitely an issue, you can hear conversations, walking, and any kind of noise above your bedroom. The window also has an ac attachment so outside noise gets pretty bad as well such as people, cars, and trash truck. It was nice that earplugs were provided

Staff was nice, aside from that this is literally the one of the worst AirBnB we’ve ever stayed at. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear EVERYTHING happening above you. Every single night, we were woken up in the middle of the night because we could hear people walking, banging, and taking above. If you’re a light sleeper or have young kids - this place is NOT for you. Aside from the noise - basically everything in this unit was in disrepair. Faucets are loose, the dishwasher doesn’t work properly, and worse, fell out, crushing my foot and spilling water because it’s not secured. The knives are cheap and broken, to the point where we almost cut ourselves due to a handle literally falling off the knife. The advertised jacuzzi tub does not work. Pool was closed, even though advertised as open. If you’re a digital nomad - don’t bank on that “dedicated workspace” - it doesn’t exist.

The place was neat and tidy, can tell it gets a lot of high traffic, but it was updated and made our stay convenient. The host was quick and responsive to everything we needed or had questions about. It’s a pleasant place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.

Great location, good shower, responsive friendly staff, good TV. However this place was DIRTY and is in need of maintenance, does not come with your own washing machine & dryer but rather is shared with multiple other units (this should be stated in the listing). It has no dining table or chairs. The bed is very hard and uncomfortable. There was a serious lack of kitchen utensils. With some upgrades and care this place could be good but in its current state I would NOT recommend.

Host communicated well, check-in was easy, and all spaces were clean and cozy. Loved the space and felt right at home. The location is great - right by the lake and walking distance to all the shops, bars, and restaurants. We even extended our stay by a night due to the snow and to take advantage of the great discount. Only 2 minor downsides - 1) walls are very thin, so we could hear everything from our upstairs neighbors. 2) Us extending our stay wasn't communicated to the woman who entered the apartment to clean. it was a bit awkward as we had already been in touch with the host, and they approved our extended stay. This is usually the benefit of ABnB that this kind of miscommunication doesn't happen because usually you're dealing with 1 person. Overall, our stay was lovely. It was cozy, private, and comfortable while still being in the heart of town. Would definitely recommend.

We got the place for a discounted rate compared to other nights so it was a super great deal. Easy 3 minute walk to the village. Very warm with heaters in all the rooms. Bed was comfortable too. The overall building is a bit old including the kitchen, etc but the furnishings were new, modern and nice. Would definitely stay there again at the reasonable rate they gave me. Thumbs up!

Great place to stay, nice and clean! Walkable to all things in town. The only thing is that it is an old building so you can often hear those staying above you, but it wasn’t really an issue! Perfect for our stay!

Perfect stay. Simple, but clean place. Great location to the Heavenly village (shopping, restaurants, and more). Was really ideal for the couple nights we hung out near the village and wanted a place within walking distance to everything.

This place was definitely worth it for my visit to South Lake Tahoe with my partner! All the places needed for groceries, shopping, eats, and the gondola were all within 5 minutes of walking. The accommodation itself was clean, spacious, and felt right at home! The staff was very nice and responsive for anything we needed and questions we had. Truly had an amazing stay here!

This place was definitely nice. We loved that heavenly and a shopping center was walking distance away. We only stayed here due to a snow storm but we would love to stay here again and get to enjoy it a little more. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved how walkable it was to the gondola and restaurants! Such a central location and 5-10 min drive to wherever you needed to go in South Lake. Place itself was cozy and extremely clean. Water pressure for shower= amazing. They did a great job with the space they had, and how old the building is. Brought a kennel for our pup and she did great. Lots of areas to walk around to take our pup out. Bed was super comfy!! Lots of mirrors and well decorated. The only thing we would complain about is that the title for the listing advertised it as having a fireplace which we assumed was usable but it had a sign saying ‘’display only’’ when we got there and they verified we coudn’t actually use it. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay here and am looking forward to booking again!

We had a great stay here! The space is cozy, the location is very convenient, and it was overall a great value. The kitchen was a little limited in terms of cooking stuff, so bring what you think you’ll need if you’re going to be doing more actual cooking, and note that there isn’t a dining table. We made do with a coffee table and eating on the couch but it was something I didn’t notice when making the booking. The host was extremely responsive and very helpful!

The apartment was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. Communicating with the host was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Good bed and Location is very convenient. We had a great stay!

It was very pleasant stay on Tahoe Lake. Apartment was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Is is close to everything you need. The bad was very comfortable and lines was very soft. The host very nice and always ready to help.

Located super close to the main strip in South Lake Tahoe! The place was clean and as described. The building is old and the walls are thin so there was quite a bit of noise from the unit above, but it wasn’t too big of a deal.

Been going to SLT for 50 plus years, over the last 10 years we have found several properties who have raised their prices very high. Living in CA, not all of us are equal in income. This property seems to recognize this fact. We were very thankful for the beautiful unit that was superior to others we rented over the past 10 years and about 15% less. We hope Blake will continue to keep the property rental cost for the week affordable for those of us coming form a less income area of Northern California. Through experience, we always bring everything to private properties. This property had built in shampoos, conditioner, body wash, dish soap and soap dispensers in every area, awesome!!! Those amenities are pretty handy! Free washer/dryer, great. Thank you Blake, we will be booking for next year!

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is very central to walking everywhere. Or electric scooters can be found nearly everywhere if needed. There is a beautiful, non dog friendly beach within walking distance, but there is a $25 fee per person. A free, dog friendly beach is 1.5 miles down the road. There’s free laundry and parking. A cute pool and a nice upstairs propane bbq area to enjoy the evening. The supermarket is in walking distance too, which was very convenient. Definitely will come back. The owner responded very quickly to my questions. Check in and out was easy.

Great location with walkable access to downtown South Tahoe and the lake. It's an under 30 minute drive to the popular spots on both the east and west side of the Lake. The place was clean, comfortable and had access to a patio area for grilling.

A quaint little place with all the necessities for a 4 day stay! We enjoyed having more space than a traditional room; we had a separate bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom which made our stay very comfortable. Great location too! We were a very short walking distance from the grocery store, restaurants, shops, and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We also loved the self check-in and self check-out. The keyless entry was so convenient as we didn't have to worry about sharing or loosing a key.

Nice location! Right in the middle of the perfect spots! The place is so warm and cozy. We get to rent the room with a bathroom that has jacuzzi and it was spontaneous! Very relaxing. Host is very promt and friendly too! It is indeed a good stay.

The spot was centrally located, has a kitchen with all the essentials, the jacuzzi tub is a fun touch for giving little kiddos a bath. I’d say it was a good spot for a couple that isn’t planning on spending too much time there. It is a bit misleading to put “fireplace” in the title of the listing when you can’t use it… it does state in the Airbnb that it is “aesthetic only” but I thought maybe that it meant it was gas powered rather than a wood burning fireplace? It’s clear that the place is in the middle of renovation. A light switch cover by the front door wasn’t actually screwed into the wall, a power outlet cover by the bed doesn’t fully cover the gap in the wall. Some communication issues as well—Scheduled plumbing work was done in the middle of the day, which we weren’t informed of until 15 minutes prior. Additionally, the cancellation policy states that we could cancel mid-stay and receive a full refund for nights that remain 24 hours after cancellation, minus service and cleaning fees. When we reached out about this policy, we were informed that we would receive no refund for the last night. We decided to just stay and not spend our trip trying to negotiate this policy, but it was disappointing nonetheless.

Everything about this Lodge was great. Great customer service. The one time that we were missing something in the kitchen they were able to get to us right away. There were some pans that I thought were missing. When I turned on the oven I found them because I'm in the habit of looking because I put my cast iron skillets inside of my oven and always remove them within seconds of me turning on my oven. The memory foam mattress was a bit firm for my husband and I, but that's our preference nothing that they did wrong. It's very close to the heavenly shopping center, this was great, everything was within walking distance. Everything was pretty great.

Location was perfect for our ski vacation. Walking distance of the gondola (about 5 minutes), shops, dining and grocery store. Condo had basic amenities needed and two smart TV’s. Nice shower water pressure was a bonus.

Location, location, LOCATION. You can not get any better than this place for location. Walking distance from the gondola if you’re looking to go up the mountain. Walking distance from the casinos if you want to gamble or enjoy Tahoe’s night life. Walking distance from most of the bars, restaurants and everything else Tahoe has to offer. Blake and the team were so friendly and on top of everything for this stay. We were never left in the dark and felt completely supported. Only thing I would say that was not fantastic was the bed was fairly hard. Great for back sleepers but not so great for stomach sleepers like myself. Everything else was top tier!!

Great location, close to bars and restaurants, loved the live music at ten crows BBQ. The town doesn't have a lot of street lights so a flashlight would be useful for late nights walking home! The bed was extremely comfortable! Also the smart TV was great as you ca log into your own streaming services. would definitely stay again and fingers crossed for more powder.

Great place to stay if you’re going to Heavenly. Walking distance to heavenly village and gondola. Real easy to wake up early and start your day. Place was clean, warm, and close to so many things. Check in was easy and hassle free. Blake was great at being helpful but not invasive. Would definitely come back again.

Owner cancelled one hour before checkin due to “no electricity.” Can’t survive in Tahoe without electricity. Then he is refusing to pay me the full amount on refund. Don’t book this. Too good to be true, meaning it’s a scam.
