This AirBnB was amazing & so was our host! Heavenly Village, the Gondola, the Orange Shuttle to California Lodge, & the Lakeside Marina were right across the street & all other restaurants/bars were within walking distance. There was so much to do & so much to see! As advertised, the walls are thin, but there are quiet hours from 9pm-7am which helps. This was still the perfect weekend getaway spot! Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Don’t hesitate! Book this spot! It was amazing! Fireplace, kitchen, jetted tub, comfy bed, well laid out space, 5 minute walk to Heavenly Gondola, super hot water, fast and communicative hosts. My only suggestion is to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We always bring ear plugs when we travel. I can’t wait to come back!

THE best place to stay in Tahoe! Positive: What was not to like? The studio was spacious, and the fireplace added ambiance and heat. The kitchen had the needed pots, dinnerware, and utensils to cook on the stove/oven or reheat meals in the microwave. I loved the breakfast bar - I spent a lot of time there! The bathroom was nicely tiled. I loved my stay and will return. The check in, check out process was easy and convenient! Negative: The walls were a bit thin, but the neighbors were generally quiet and respectful.

We had no towels. When we tried contacting they only responded via email. No one on site to help or provide towels. Couldn’t take showers. When we were leaving to check out someone brought us the towels which it was too late by then. We will never stay there again.

DONT STAY HERE. Positive: There was very little to like. The place was your basic dump. We were mortified at the rude and nosy staff who even threatened to come in our room and "count our dogs." There was no breakfast. There was no heated pool and the property was the ugliest in.S.Lake.. They text you every 5 minutes for one stupid reason or another and have people standing by your door eavesdropping all the time. A full refund would be in order but we're considering a lawsuit. Negative: There was nothing to like. I have never seen such a total misrepresentation of a property. There is no way they have a 8+ review score. Somebody has cheated. The TV was a tiny little squeaky TV that had the cheapest, useless lineup of a few worthless app based things only to watch with NO LIVE TV!! It was pathetic. I tried to post pictures but not sure they worked. The one that looks like a frozen pool is their "heated pool."

Great communication from the host and a very convenient location in South Lake Tahoe. The kitchenette was extremely useful and made our stay much more comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout.

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb, and we were genuinely impressed. The space was small but very cozy perfect for just me and my husband. The jetted bathtub was amazing and such a nice touch. We loved how close it was to the shopping center in South Lake Tahoe only a 3-minute walk and just a 7-minute walk to a lakeside beach. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful toward our dog and even left a little goody bag with treats, which he absolutely loved. Another thing we really appreciated was how quickly they responded to any questions. Overall, this stay was perfect, and we would absolutely recommend it!

The place was absolutely lovely and I booked it for the bathtub and kitchen which did not disappoint but the noise from upstairs was miserable. It was not the quiet retreat I was hoping for but did feel that the noise was mentioned before I booked and I just hoped for the best. I was granted an early check in and late check out which I appreciated and communication was on point. Very comfy spot minus the unbearable commotion.

Si buscas ubicación este es el lugar, pero si buscas descansar este nos es la mejor opción, se escucha el ruido de las habitaciones de los lados y arriba, literal se escucha TODO no pudimos descansar nada. Responden rápido, sin embargo no son amigables, yo 3 horas después de haber contratado me si cuenta que por error me equivoqué en mis fechas puse un día antes del iba a llegar , avisé de inmediato y a pesar de ser temporada baja y que en el hotel había espacio no quisieron ayudarme a mover mis fechas un día, por lo que perdí el dinero de un día entero, llevo años contratando por medio de Airbnb y en todos los lugares han sido muy comprensivos y siempre han estando dispuestos a ayudar, hubiera entendido la situación si esto hubiera pasado en temporada alta El lugar está limpio , pero si miras a detalle fair una buena limpieza, por ejemplo en la junta de la regadera hay moho.

This was a very nice comfortable place to land during a 2-night stopover between my home in Utah and the Bay Area. It was very nice to have a little kitchenette. Although this property is very close to the state line and the center of all the bustle in South Lake Tahoe, it is on a quiet street and is secluded from noise and activity. The hosts were very friendly and provided lots of helpful information.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location is amazing — just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the lake. Lakeside Beach is only a couple of minutes away and it’s such a beautiful spot, especially for watching the sunset. You can also easily walk to the Van Sickle Trail, which is a lovely hike. The place was very clean and well maintained. The host was attentive and helped me right away when I needed a few things for cooking, which I really appreciated. The only thing I wish is that the room had a hot tub like in the photos, but other than that everything was perfect. 10/10 — I’d definitely stay here again!

Cute room with a comfortable bed. The booklet with information stated the walls are thin due to the age of the building however we didn't hear a lot of noise. Great location if you want to be near restaurants and the stateline. Everything was as described and how it looks on the pictures. I would stay again!

The place was easy to check in, it was bigger than the photos which was awesome. My wife and I loved the tub with the jets. Fireplace also was easy to operate. The employee Carlos was extremely helpful and respectful. He responded to all messages quickly, great communication and he made local suggestions on things to do. 10/10 great place to stay and they had a lovely little kitchen in the unit. We did not use the kitchen but i looked through and they had everything you would need to cook something, pots, pans, utensils and everything. Cant wait to stay here again in the future.

We spent a few nights and our biggest complaint was the noise. The walls are very thin (which they are aware of and note in the welcome book). There was a family or something above us and it sounded like someone was rough housing or bouncing a ball late into the night. We called the host multiple times and they reached out to the other guests but the noise persisted with breaks. Then again it was loud in the morning so we couldn't even sleep in. Another night someone was playing music that we could hear. Other than the noise the stay was fine. The room was comfortable although the furniture is clearly cheap. The pictures are a bit misleading as it's unclear which room you'll actually receive. We had a kitchen and dish soap but no sponge so couldn't do dishes and when we asked they didn't give us one. The fire place can't be directly controlled and turns off at night which seems misleading as well. There was no guide to the keypad and we had no parking pass. hard mattress.

Positive: The location was perfect. Middle of town, not far from the Main Street with its great array of eateries and stores and close to the Heavenly gondola station. Negative: Walls and floors are thin with little insulation (a feature of its older design, which we accepted), but this could be mitigated by carpet on upper units, although I understand that this might detract from the modern decor of the units.

Positive: This hotel is a great deal! The room was very clean, and an abundance of amenities were included with the room. I hate going to a hotel for a week and they provide 1 roll of toilet paper... Moose and Maple provided 5 in our room. I hate going to a hotel and they give two Keurig coffee pods for the week... Moose and Maple provided more coffee than we could drink. I hate going to a hotel and being given a tiny 1 oz bottle of dish soap and a horrible sponge... Moose and Maple provided a good quality sponge and a 16 oz mason jar of dish soap for use! Great points about the stay: Full gas range - oven combo Microwave Drip coffee maker Toaster Fridge + Freezer combo AC + Fireplace Free in room wifi Bed was extremely comfortable however very soft and squishy if that's not your thing Free on site laundry with detergent and dryer sheets provided Perfect location - walking distance to both the beach and tourist shops You cannot beat the value of this room. The price is punching way above its weight class for what you get.

The reviews for this place are fairly good so my stay must have been an anomaly. This was the worst hotel or air bnb stay I’ve ever had. I don’t know if they cleaned this place before I arrived because when I first opened the door there was a Reese’s candy wrapper on the floor, the floors were sticky like something had been spilled, there were strands of hair everywhere, and some spots were caked in dust. The worst part by far though was the noise. Even though they tell you the walls are thin and I was expecting some noise, it was beyond what I imagined. I could hear every sound from the neighbors dog barking, to conversations, to everything happening in the parking lot. The people upstairs sounded like they were walking on a treadmill for hours on end, from morning to night. I didn’t know whether to be impressed by their apparent feat of endurance or annoyed by the hours of stomping. The laundry room and kitchen were positives though.

Stayed here for a few nights with my partner and it was amazing! the bathroom was better than we expected, bed and pillows were comfortable, right next to shops and restaurants, it was a great stay!! it is a hotel so walls are pretty thin but if you turn the ac on it’s no biggie, it’s loud but we appreciated the white noise. the only downside is the wifi wasn’t working much but we didn’t care since we wanted to stay off our phones:) would definitely come back and stay here again!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist super, es ist einiges in der Nähe an Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten. Zudem kann man in der Umgebung einige Dinge unternehmen. In der Unterkunft selbst ist es super das es eine Küchenzeile gibt. Draußen befindet sich ein Gemeinschaftspool. Der Gastgeber hat direkt auf Fragen reagiert und schnell geantwortet. Wir würden wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Best Staff Ever! Positive: We have stayed here four times now, Its our regular spot. Close to everything in walking distance, beach, heavenly village, casinos, restaurants, its perfect location. Rooms are always very clean, they are very meticulous about the cleanliness standards. Heated outdoor pool with BBQ. Kitchen is fully stocked, they dont miss any details, including dish soap, spounge, cutting boards, knives, ice trays in the freezer, etc. Very dog friendly. We come during the week so we end up getting to know the staff, Carlos the maintenance and pool guy is our favorite. He remembered us from 4 months ago and left cookies and dog treats at our door. The hospitality here (especially for contactless check in and check out) is superb. If you need anything, the manager is a quick text away and responds within minutes every time. Negative: We hate the beds. That's the only thing we dont like. The room can only fit a queen which we understand but the mattress in both rooms we've had is pretty worn in. Has the body dents on both sides so uncomfortable if you are a stomach sleeper, but pillows and bedding are very clean and plush. There's no bed like your own. Still love this place so we deal with the beds.

The place is comfortable and has everything you need. It is located in an area that is walkable as well. The hosts are very responsive and considerate. The listing mentioned Mountain Views. But honestly, couldn’t see it from my room. Maybe the upper floor has views.. not sure. My only concern was that the walls/ceiling were too thin and could hear people walking/moving upstairs. This was only an issue when the people upstairs had an early start to the day and we could hear their every movement. But otherwise, the place is very well designed to fit everything in the space.

This was a perfect stay for our night in SLT. The unit was comfortable, had everything we needed, was peaceful, and in a great location (walkable to the lake and to Heavenly Village). Our first visit to Lake Tahoe and the apt was in a perfect location for exploring the city. The beach was great and that restaurant was a good place to watch the sunsets. We brought our dog with us so we were limited to restaurants with outside seating and only a couple of beaches but as I said it was our familiarization tour. We will be back!

We had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything someone could need to make a meal. The bed was super comfortable and non-carpeted floors were a huge bonus for us. Everything was super clean and Adventure Stays was very communicative and gave easy-to-follow instructions regarding check in and check out. Location was prime…our main purpose in Tahoe was to see a concert at Harvey’s and the walk was only about 10 minutes. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay. The rooms were small but cute details including a small dinning table. We loved the ability to use a stove in the kitchen to make meals. There is a fireplace and AC Outside is ok. Pool was clean but cold. There is a little BBQ area by pool along with some activities. Close to everything. Walkable to Lakeside Beach and Heavenly Village. Easy to find. Easy to get in. Easy to park. Communication with host was fantastic. Only downfall was you can hear your neighbors which they tell you. They provide ear plugs 😂. But we didn’t need because AC fan blocked the noise.

Nice place to stay, especially if you need the kitchenette, which is hard to find in these types of rooms. Bedding was soft and clean. There's a small pool, with several lounge chairs and a bbq. Location is 5 minute walk to heavenly. Only downside is the walls are very thin, because it's an older building. But the air conditioning works well, and is just loud enough to help with this. Overall very good stay.

Positive: Location Negative: There was water leaking from the room above. We had to put a container on the floor to catch it. Also the toilet did not flush which was inconvenient and smelled horrible. The bed was not a queen like we booked. Additional package we purchased was not in room when we arrived. When we told them about these issues and that we were leaving early due to them, they offered a pathetic $50 refund. Just awful.

This place was an amazing place to stay at! Only downfall was hearing the people above us at 8am and right before the curfew hours moving constantly throughout our stay and if we didn’t have our ac unit on we would hear everything, but it was due to how old the building is. Other than that, they were very welcoming and even gave our pup a little welcome bag with treats and potty bags/carrier. Very accessible to walk to either the lake or the shopping center. We also liked the accessible stove and microwave so we did not have to spend all our money eating out. Totally recommend if you are planning to stay for a couple days or week.

The location was good and communication with the host was responsive. Unfortunately, the listing didn’t quite match the actual condition of the property, and the air conditioning was very loud, which made it hard to relax. That said, the host did offer a partial refund, which I appreciated. With some improvements to cleanliness, accuracy of the listing, and maintenance of the amenities, this could be a much better stay in the future.

We enjoyed our recent stay at The Moose and Maple Lodge. The host was very responsive and was quick to resolve any issues or concerns that came up. Their location was great as well. There are many restaurants and activities within walking distance. The biggest activity perk would be the beach vouchers to South Lake Tahoe's only private beach, which made for a very relaxing and quiet beach day or sunset for a fraction of the cost to get in. This is definitely a must stay for anyone looking to spend a few days in South Lake Tahoe!

I had a good time staying there. Kitchenette/ bathroom/ room itself so clean and everything was pretty good. Only thing I felt was there should be a bit more lighting in room and felt room was small which I’m picture seems big. Other than that I had good time. Check in is the easiest I’ve ever experienced. Plenty of parking. Code was sent to us an hour before check in with no issues. They have a quick response if you ever text their number! The unit is a little bit smaller than expected but we made it work. Kitchen is fully stocked and fridge was great with a large freezer section instead of those small mini fridge ones. The bathroom has a tub with jet features which we didn’t use but nice to have. The water got very hot quickly. Usually I have to let the water run for a few minutes but this one gets scorching hot within the minute. Not too many cons and all very minor but something to note. The AC unit is great at cooling the room but it is a portable unit so it does take up some floor space. We just had to move some furniture around for our baby. The bathroom is worn. The cabinet had broken hinges and towels had bleach stains but nothing detrimental. All in all, we’d definitely stay here again. It’s decent for the price paid.

This was the perfect location to stay in South Lake Tahoe! It was right in the middle of beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and any grocery store you need. The place itself was so cute, and exactly what my boyfriend and I needed. Our dog loved it too, as he had a treat of his own waiting for him upon arrival! We appreciated the kind gesture. Something to note is that it was easy to hear our neighbors, as the walls were thin, however, that was clearly stated in the description so we were well prepared for that! Whenever we needed something, our host was very communicative and quick to respond. Overall, we felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Can’t wait to come back!

THE spot, doing it right at Moose & Maple Positive: I cannot rave enough of this beautiful lodge! Super clean and accommodating. The area is perfect, 5-10 minute walk from the lake, public transit hub, shops, and food. As for the lovely staff, whenever I had a concern or question, they were so timely and helpful via SMS. It was a fresh breath of air having friendly people at every turn while giving you full privacy during your stay! I would come back and recommend this spot for long or short stays. This is an excellent base to explore Lake Tahoe. It’s very close to shops and bars. The space is well appointed. The bed is super comfortable, and we had everything we needed to prepare some meals. The team are responsive and really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. On the shoulder season the accommodation was reasonably priced. We would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thanks Adventure Stays team!

Adventure stays was conveniently located on the state line and in close proximity to many shops and restaurants. The unit had a small kitchenette just enough to cook simple meals or to reheat leftovers. The fact that they’re a dog friendly hotel is also a plus since we had a small pup with us. They also have a designated area for dogs to go potty. Check in and check out was a breeze where you do not need keys and enter through a PIN code. Even though walls are thin, we were lucky enough to get respectful neighbors so it was still pretty quiet overall.

Had an enjoyable stay with Adventure Stays! The team was super responsive and willing to accommodate any needs. There were clear instructions during check in and out. The gas fire place was an amenity I didn’t think was needed but came in handy during the early morning and late night chill in the mountains. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The walls are quite thin and you can hear the upstairs and outdoor neighbors but we knew this before booking. The Adventure Stays team was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs on the nightstands!

Preis-Leistung top! Ich würde wieder kommen. Positive: Auf unserer insgesamt 3-wöchigen Reise war das vermutlich mit die beste Unterkunft. Die Küche war ganz gut ausgestattet, das Bett bequem, das Bad hell und mit Fenster ausgestattet, die Lage so nah am Lake Tahoe war auch super. Der Fernseher hatte sogar Netflix, Amazon Prime & Co. Alles war sehr sauber. Mitarbeitende haben wir gar nicht gesehen, da der CheckIn kontaktlos ablief. Nur einen Handwerker, der den Pool gestrichen hat – weshalb dieser auch geschlossen war. Negative: Man durfte nur auf dem Parkplatz rauchen, was in Anbetracht der Möglichkeit nachts auf Bären zu treffen, teilweise für ein mulmiges Gefühl gesorgt hat. Das ist aber rein subjektiv und am Ende haben wir auch nur einen Waschbären (im Pool) gesehen. :D Das vielleicht eher als Info. Ansonsten gibt's nichts zu Meckern!

Cozy Valued Gem Positive: Location, location. This cozy little place was just amazing and a great value. Crisp, clean, inviting and comfortable the cutest little appliance nook all new features. The property is just a block from Tahoe Beach where you could go frolic in the big, cold lake (it was still May) Negative: My room was small, but cozy. Positive: Everything we needed for our 6 night stay. Clean, comfy accommodation. Short distance to walk to either the Lake or the Shops/Bars. Carlos was very pleasant & helpful with recommendations of places to visit & watching the sunset by the Lake, which we did on our last night. Negative: The only downside was hearing people moving around in the upstairs accommodation & the dog barking ( we are dog owners ourselves) Using the ear plugs supplied did help me sleep.

Great BNB with prime location! Positive: Room was very clean and comfortable. The location is prime as it’s close to the state line and restaurants. A very short walk to and from! Negative: Not really a flaw but there aren’t any facilities here. Pool was closed but as expected as we went during the winter time. Walls are thin but we noticed this is the trend within the hotels along Tahoe.

This stay was a great value! The room was very clean and warm! You can't beat the location either. The walk to Heavenly Gondola is about as short as it gets. The price was affordable and accommodations that stood out were the fire place, bath tub, and kitchen. The staff was responsive within minutes. Dedicated parking off the street. I found the bed comfortable and was grateful for the complimentary earplugs.

Best customer service EVER Positive: The customer service was the best I’ve ever experienced. Not only were they willing to try to fix anything I had an issue with, they did it super fast and with a smile. It’s a great system they have here. They have a central location you text for customer service, not on site. And they liaise with the on site staff to complete tasks. I brought Keurig pods, because i drink decaf, and the website photos have a keurig. I got to the room, and it had a regular drip machine. Within 5 minutes of me texting, i had a Keurig in my room. Negative: The sink in the kitchen is challenging, as it is smaller than is really functional. The bathroom sink is even bigger!

Great spot for a quick ski trip. Just be aware that if there is a wind closure for the gondola you’ll need to drive to a nearby lift during ski season. We had a rental car and it wasn’t a problem at all. This is a good value spot.

The apartment is beautiful clean, well-maintained, and peaceful, offering a very relaxing atmosphere. It's a great space to call home. The only minor downside is that the noise from the top floor can sometimes be noticeable, especially at night with stomping footsteps if you are sensitive to noise, it might be something to keep in mind. However, it doesn't take away from the overall comfort and charm of the place. If you value a serene environment, this is a wonderful option!

Our stay was what we were looking for for a few nights in Tahoe with our dog. Super sweet dog welcome package was in our room upon arrival and very easy check in. Loved the location as we were just down from Heavenly village and everything was very walkable! I was impressed by how well stocked the kitchenette was. Our only issues were iffy WiFi and VERY cozy heating when we first got there (which was easily fixed with an open window and turning off the heat).

Location is perfect for everything Positive: The location is perfect—less than a 10-minute walk to the gondola, restaurants, and a gas station. It’s about a 5-minute drive to the California Lodge. The room is clean and has everything we need. Shower really strong, I love it. After all, i still back here next time. Negative: The mattress is very firm 🥲🥲 If you choose to stay on the first floor like we did, be prepared for noise from upstairs. I read some reviews mentioning that the building is old and could be noisy, but I didn’t expect it to be this loud.

We really enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was easy, as the host had provided clear instructions, and everything we needed was available. The location was within walking distance of the lake and numerous restaurants. Although the host had previously informed us about potential noise due to the thin walls between rooms, we did find it a bit noisy at times, as we could hear people walking above us on the second floor. Other than that, everything else was just as the host described on the website.

Perfect Spot Positive: I freaking love this place. It was our second time here with our dogs and we all love it. Dog friendly room with no carpet, all hard flooring, clean, fireplace, kitchenette with supplies, access to the laundry room. Contact less check in and check out. Our host delivered cookies to our room when my husband was bummed they were all out. That made his day. Close walking to Heavenly village, beach, and the casinos. This is our favorite place to stay in Tahoe. Negative: We don't love the streaming apps vs cable but its ok. The connection can be spotty at times.

Excelent, despite the addition cleaning fee, our stay was great and I’d come back to stay in same place. Positive: Easy to get in, easy to get out. Clean. Very well located. Messages explaining everything and making it very understandable. Beautiful room. Negative: Walls too thin, you can hear any small step from a neighbor. If want a clean during your stay you need to pay $40, should be offered at least one clean session + towels change during your stay for free.

I had a wonderful time at Moose and Lodge during my first visit to Lake Tahoe! I was really impressed with how close it is to the Nevada state line, Heavenly, and all the nearby shops. The location was perfect for exploring the entire lake, making it super convenient for the activities I had planned for my husband and me. I did spend some time thinking about my stay because I noticed some noise coming from other rooms, which was a bit bothersome. However, I found in the guest information book that the building was built in the 1950s, which explains the thin walls. It reassured me that I wasn’t imagining things, and it’s something beyond their control. They were also very proactive in addressing my noise concerns, which I appreciated. Aside from that, everything was fantastic! The kitchenette allowed me to cook meals for my husband and me, helping us save a bit of money. It truly felt like a home away from home in such a charming boutique setting. Glad I chose to stay here!

Moose Lodge accommodated our late resevation request/check-in and dog friendly. Check-in process was easy. Unit was super clean as advertised and very cozy. Our two small dogs enjoyed the fireplace as we lay their travel bed in front of it. Small kitchenette was very useful. Parking was never an issue. Great location walkable to numerous attractions ex. Lakeside beach, Heavenly shops, casinos etc. Would definitely consider again when planning another Tahoe trip!

Would definitely return! Positive: The room was wonderful….great little kitchen with a lot of thoughtful amenities, bed was comfortable and the decor including fireplace was great. Appreciate the use of fillable shower and lotion supplies as well as dish soap…no stupid plastic throwaways! Yay! Room was a mere three blocks from the beach (and M&M give paid tickets for entry, although beware, the beach does not allow dogs), and just two blocks from casinos and restaurants. Check in was easy and the online concierge service checked in to make sure everything was good. Dogs are allowed for a price and there is an area for a dog to do its’ business with bags provided (but why don't people pick up after their pets? You will ruin it for the rest of us). All in all we loved staying here and would return….off season is the way to go. Negative: Only one thing….please provide one small chair with a back….sitting on those little stools was uncomfortable and the bed is not a great place for some people to sit. If we return, we would need to bring camping chairs.

I enjoyed my stay at the Moose and Maple - it seems like a lodge style motel that the owners fixed up and offer on Airbnb, so although it started life as a motel it feels very homey and more like an airbnb than hotel, with the exception of maybe hearing the neighbors. I ran a white noise generator most of the nights (a soft murmer . com) and sometimes during the day and I can't say I was bothered by the noise from any other room, though I was there in the off season. The kitchen was great, the shower was as hot as you could want, the whirlpool was delightful, and the fireplace was a nice touch. The host was very communicative. Overall I would definitely stay again.

The location for our Tahoe marathon weekend was great, walkable to the start plus to other activities and restaurants nearby. The photos show a jacuzzi tub or stand-up shower. Wish we had requested a room with the tub as the shower was a tight fit even for someone of average height. Certainly a hot tub would be a nice addition. It is mentioned somewhere that the walls are thin. So yes, it was noisy, especially from the second floor above us. I could see why earplugs were provided. The thermostat controlled fireplace was nice. Next time, we should book direct, as after the AB&B upcharges the room was not that great a deal. The rate offered for adding on a night was much better. Overall the place was fine and since they allow dogs, we would likely consider staying there again if we’re traveling with our pup.

Everything was great, very clean, perfect location, and very responsive hosts. My only issue with this place is that all of the larger family rooms are on the second floor and it’s an older building, almost no insulation. So if your neighbors are up, you’re up too. The walls are paper thin so even people just walking around upstairs was super loud. Other than that everything was good. Just made it hard to sleep a couple of the nights we were there.

Very satisfied with my 2 night stay. Clean, private space that was walkable to many shops and restaurants. There was an issue with my room code the second night, but Adventure Stays helped to resolve the issue quickly. I appreciated the ease and consistency of their communication! Like they mention in the posting, the walls are thin and you can sometimes hear your neighbors. But the earplugs they provided were helpful for sleeping. Positive: This is clearly a renovated old motel, where they have made the rooms much nicer, and it has an excellent location to access South Lake Tahoe (very easy to walk to restaurants, etc.). The bathroom was nicely renovated as well, and the parking was very convenient. Negative: The room was a bit small, and the kitchen was nice, but it would have been quite small/difficult to actually cook a meal there (but not a dealbreaker for us, as we planned to eat out anyway). It would have been nice to have beach access; there was a private beach nearby, but it still required you to pay to access the shore.

It's a great property and had all we needed for a fun week at Lake Tahoe Positive: Updated, cute decor, very comfortable bed, clean, safe, nice hot shower, kitchenette with all you need to prepare simple meals, convenient location Negative: No full length mirror, only provided one washcloth for a weeks stay (there were none in the laundry room stock supply---so we used our own that we brought just in case), nice that laundry services were complimentary but the front load washer had really strong mold/mildew smell so we opted not to wash our clothes there. Could hear the people above us walking around but didn't really bother us.

The lodge had most amenities we were looking for- minus the firepit/BBQ (as shown in their photos) very quaint, but one thing stuck out. Housekeeping. Upon entering the room, a little plaque says to take your shoes off and stay a while. So we did just that. Next thing I noticed my socks were black on the bottom. I took a damp paper towel to wipe the floor and it was filthy. I then proceeded to wipe the whole entire floor in the room because it was that bad. I had to call the office; we only had one fork in the drawer and there were two of us. I had to wash every dish before we used them due to food particles and grease. In the morning I pulled out the coffee pot-coffee stains all over the lid. One of the bedsheets was riddled with holes as if a rodent chewed it, the area covering approx.15 in diameter. The photos are not accurate of the exterior of the motel. It shows a balcony with a fire pit/couch. It was nonexistent. Inside the guest binder in the room states to come to the back of the office and enjoy the fire pit/barbecue. That too was nonexistent. There was an old rug on the ground and that was it. We felt that the photos in the listing were false advertising. They do give you ear plugs due to the noise upstairs and adjoining rooms. It was noisy! I contacted VRBO with my concerns and was able to get the $50 cleaning deposit back since I did all the cleaning. I did take photos of the items of concern. Wish I could upload. Some positives: great location.

What an incredible location! Not only was this Airbnb across the street from a close family friend, but it was also steps away from the center of town with easy access to a variety of restaurants, bars and shopping. As an added benefit, we were able to do a load of laundry before leaving town! We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back.

We had a great time. Location was great. We would upgrade to full size over studio next time. Positive: The accomodations were good. The bed was very comfortable and it was only a 2 block walk to town for food, gambling and entertainment. Negative: The internet was spotty. The TV kept cutting out or glitching during the olympics. There was not enough bandwidth for me to complete my real estate client jobs. I had to go to a local Fedex/Kinko. For some reason Tmobile service for my cell phone worked for 4 days then was completely unavailable on the 5th day. Shower is pretty small even for one person at a time.

The room matched the pictures and descriptions. Small but had everything we needed! Ideal location, walkable to Heavenly Village, Casinos, and the beach. The passes for the Marina beach were a great benefit as the beaches get very busy on the weekend. I would recommend staying in an upstairs unit if possible as the noise from our upstairs neighbors waking/running, and moving things was very loud.

The place was amazing and convenient. It is close to everything, walking distance to restaurants, lakes, etc. I loved that they had a kitchen inside the unit with all that you need, pots, pans, dish soap, oil, etc. The bathroom is also equipped with handsoap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The only downside I could think of is the floors in the second floor, you can hear people walking from the upstairs room. Luckily, the people above us weren’t too loud.

We had a wonderful stay at Maple and Moose lodge! The location is perfect walking distance to the beach and to Heavenly Village with all the shops and restaurants. The hotel provides 5$ vouchers to the beach which was great. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The noise from upstairs only bothered us a bit the second night but the earplugs that had been provided did their magic. The only issue we had was spotty WiFi, had to keep changing it, but the host was responsive and helped us solve the issue quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

The hosts were responsive. The fireplace didnt work for me. I asked the hosts and they sent the property manager and sadly he couldnt figure it out as I had to stop him trying to configure because the fireplace started giving electrical shocks to him. The property manager brought local cookies for free at one of evenings which was a sweet gesture. We had a good amount of noise from upstairs, so be wary of that. The place is nearby the beach (5 min walk) which was superb, along with so many restaurants nearby. I also liked how my car was parked right outside my room so was able to bring and put stuff back and forth easily. Overall comfortable stay.

The room itself was a nice updated motel room with a small kitchenette and a nice large bathroom. Pet friendly, which is huge for us. Great neighborhood for walking the dog too. We had a great weekend here, and would definitely book again.

Uncomfortable and not really as expected. Positive: The new this hotel didn't have any breakfast. The room was clean, but that's pretty much the only thing I liked about it. Negative: I didn't like the fact that the room was so small. I didn't like the bed it was some type of a memory foam and way too soft and uncomfortable. I didn't like the way the thermostat control the fireplace in the room. I didn't like the noises that the refrigerator and something else that I don't even know what it was kept making all night long. I didn't like the fact that it said the room had a terrace and it didn't. I didn't like the fact that there really wasn't anybody there to talk to or to ask for anything. You had to call some number and they would notify somebody at a general location that was owned by the company that would eventually take care of your knees or something. I didn't like the fact that they charged you was $70 cleaning fee, and then upon check out when you look at the checkout procedure they want you pretty much to clean everything and take out the garbage and everything. So pretty much you're just paying 70 bucks for some person to come in and change the sheets and put a new towels, that is something that supposed to do anyway. They said if you had any dishes that were dirty to clean them off and put them in the dishwasher, except my room didn't have any dishwasher.

Great place and close to everything! The room was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The walls are thin so you will be able to hear people walking around upstairs. The hosts are very helpful and respond quickly to any questions you have. Great place to stay for a great price!

Great balance of price and features/amenities. I really enjoyed my stay and it fit the bill for what I was looking for. I wanted a no frills (but clean and comfortable) lodging walkable to the Heavenly gondola. The Moose and Maple lodge delivered on all things. The room was comfortable and appropriately appointed with items to make for a good stay. Everything was well communicated and easy to manage. Only thing of note - there is not really any seating in the room. There are two backless stools and the bed. If you are looking to lounge in the room, your options are limited to the above. The host is not misleading at all, but it was something I took for granted until I wanted to lounge a bit after a day on the mountain.

Pros: - The stay was as advertised and in a great location to walk to the Heavenly Gondola. It is close to the Main Street area.. The space was clean , and had basic kitchen needs should you decide to cook there. Cons - Depending on your neighbors it can be extremely loud at night. - There is no market within walking distance and you will have to get to one by Uber or private vehicle. - The host was unwilling to give a clear answer and respond to an inquiry on any reimbursement or pro rate of any kind when we had to leave early due to the NWS alert and subsequent blizzard that arrived to Tahoe. We both are in emergency services and needed to get home to work. We could not risk being stranded as this storm certainly arrived. When we were told multiple times we would get an answer we never did and subsequently received a message about standard check out - Any answers from the host seemed to be generated from a generic “bot” and getting to talk to a real person seemed non-existent.

Great location, 5 minute walk to the gondola! Loved having a fullsize oven to cook in, small kitchenette is perfect for cooking for two! We even baked brownies! Comfy Bed, very clean and overall a great value for price stay!

Great location and an all around comfortable place to stay! The kitchen was a big plus, the fireplace was cozy, and the bath tub with jets was an unexpected treat. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Our biggest issue was the noise from upstairs. There are signs in the rooms saying to be mindful of how easily sound travels, but our upstairs neighbors didn’t seem to pay this any heed. Try to get an upstairs room if you can.

Absolutely loved this spot! The location was absolutely perfect. The place was so cute and had everything we needed. Thankfully they provided earplugs though because our upstairs neighbors sounded like they were coming through the ceiling constantly until around midnight and then first thing in the morning. Not adventure stays fault, just bad neighbors lol. Definitely try to get an upstairs unit.

This was the second time we stayed here and it worked just as well for us as before! We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back to Heavenly—it has easy access to the slopes and a well-equipped kitchen which works well for us!

No frills hotel room with all the basics you need for a 1-3 night stay near Heavenly Village. Fireplace and kitchenette are handy. Just two blocks from the main road, it is walking distance from the gondola and restaurants, even if you're wearing ski boots.

Great location! Thin walls so you can hear a lot. That being said, most of the people were respectful. Would absolutely stay here again in the future and opt for an upstairs room with a couch. Quick walk to heavenly and restaurants and lake. Heater worked very well, shower water was hot, fireplace inside and outside was peaceful. BBQ was fantastic and cute lights in the seating area with the fire pit made the ambiance even better! Thanks you!

This was the perfect place for me and my partner to stay in. Everything we had planned was in close proximity. We loved how we could walk to just about anywhere. The place itself was clean, warm , and well stocked. The bed was also just the right amount of firm and softness. I would stay again!

most convenient location for heavenly gondola. comfortable size for short term stays & useful kitchenette. there were a couple minor malfunctions but everything was addressed promptly. other reviews mentioned noise bc this unit is in the middle of the first floor-altho we could hear a few bumps in the night nothing was beyond any tolerance level for us. overall a pleasant stay & would readily return to this location.

Adventure stays was okay for one night. Pictures were accurate and communication was fast up until the actual check in. The hot water completely went out, and the shower did not work. When notified, it took an hour for the host to respond. They claim to have an on-call team but do not. I called and messaged several times before a response and the shower was never fixed and there was never hot water. Some of the outlets also did not work. Very thin walls and could hear other units. Main detractor was no working shower or hot water. Close walking distance to heavenly.

We had a great stay at the Moose and Maple Lodge. The interior of the place is nicely renovated. The fireplace can get a little noisy when it's heating up the place, but it doesn't happen very often.

Had trouble getting out of South Lake Tahoe because of the snow, so we had to find a place to stay and this was the best deal we could find, everything was great the only down side was NO HOT WATER! We got to our place wanting to shower and warm up and the shower just ran cold.

Me and my friend booked this for a little get away it was in the perfect location of being walkable to the beaches and the shopping center with a lot to do so it was never boring and the heater was very nice to keep you warm in the winter definitely will book again for future trips!
